【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheexistentgumcontentofaviationfuels,andthegumcontentofmotorgasolinesorothervolatiledistillatesintheirfinishedform,(includingthosecontainingalcoholandethertypeoxygenatesanddepositcontroladditives)atthetimeoftest.Provisionsaremadeforthedeterminationoftheheptaneinsolubleportionoftheresidueofnon-aviationfuels.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheacceptedSIunitofpressureisthePascal(Pa);theacceptedSIunitfortemperatureisdegreesCelsius.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see6.4,7.4,and9.1.
