【摘要】:TheAEproducedduringtheproductionofaspot-weldcanberelatedtoweldqualityparameterssuchasthestrengthandsizeofthenugget,theamountofexpulsion,andtheamountofcracking.Therefore,in-processAEmonitoringcanbeusedbothasanexaminationmethod,andasameansforprovidingfeedbackcontrol.1.1Thispracticedescribesproceduresforthemeasurement,processing,andinterpretationoftheacousticemission(AE)responseassociatedwithselectedstagesoftheresistancespot-weldingprocess.1.2ThispracticealsoprovidesguidelinesforfeedbackcontrolbyutilizingthemeasuredAEresponsesignalsduringthespot-weldingprocess.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
