【摘要】:ThisdevicetemplateiscompliantwiththeUPnPDeviceArchitecture,Version1.0.WANConnectionDeviceisaREQUIREDvirtualdevicedefinedunderurn:schemas-upnp-org:device:WANDeviceAninstanceofWANDeviceisspecifiedundertherootdeviceurn:schemas-upnp-org:device:InternetGatewayDeviceWANConnectionDeviceisacontainerforalinkandconnectionservicesspecifictoalinkonaWANinterface.MosttypesofWANinterfacescanbemodeledbyasingleinstanceofWANConnectionDevice.However,inthecaseofDSL,eachVCcanhaveuniquelinkattributesandcanbeprovisionedforconnectionservicesthataredifferentfromotherVCs.Inthiscase,eachVCwillbemodeledbyaninstanceofWANConnectionDevice.Also,inthecaseofaPOTSmodembasedInternetGatewayDevice(IGD),eachseparateISPinstancecanbemodeledasaninstanceofWANConnectionDevice.TheTheoryofOperationsectiondescribestheservicescontainedinWANConnectionDeviceinmoredetail.
